Daedunsan Cable Car Co.,Ltd. has been running a cable car business for tourists visiting Daedunsan Mountain. Built in Daedunsan Provincial Park, cable cars operated by the company have been in operation without a single accident since November 1990 when the construction was completed in two and a half years after it was kicked off in May 1988. This 927-meter long cable car transports up to 50 passengers at a time. Two cable cars run for five minutes alternately.

Located in the area of 38.1㎢, Daedunsan Mountain Provincial Park stretches on the borders of Wanju-gun of Jeollabuk-do and Nonsan-si and Geumsan-gun of Chungcheongnam-do. Spanning from Macheondae Peak that rises 878 meters above the sea, it offers a magnificent spectacle like a folding screen in harmony with strange rock formations, which makes it dubbed as Small Geumgangsan Mountain in Honam area.

The view of the mountain overlooked from the upper part of the cable car is just as stunning as Geumgangsan Mountain. What makes Daedunsan Mountain stand out from the other mountains of Korea is its two bridges: the Geumgang Gureum Bridge and the Samseon Overpass, or Cloud Bridge. It lacks nothing to satisfy people visiting here.
